Guess what happened a month ago? I was asked to join a MasterMind group. We never know when something is going to show up that weve asked for, we just know it is. After the lunch, they brought you even more chocolatefondue to dip your fruit in. Talk about temptation. I took one tiny bite of chocolate and it did taste really good. I will be honest.I did inhale.. a lot and actually did get high. Yup, I was in La La Land. We dressed up and wore hats. They all had sophisticated hats. I had my skirt and heels on and wore my beanie with I Dont Want to Grow Up on it. I looked radiant, and felt like a Ya Ya!! I got a little teary during the lunch as I mentioned that I had been asking for this group to come into my life and was feeling so blessed. One woman mentioned that she heard my call and was simply responding. Thats exactly how it works. Pretty phenomenal, right? You’ll get a tickle, a twinge, an urgent call. But you won’t have the moisture you need. It’s boiled away. It’s gone up in steam. So I’ll say it once more: circulate your wise blood, granddaughter. Spiral it around and up to your crown. Take action on your anger. Pleasure yourself. And you’ll be one of those old crones, like me, whose eyes sparkle with mirth and flash with intention. Step 1: Collect Information Bladder infections are also known as cystitis, urethritis, and UTIs (urinary tract infections). When bacteria grow in the bladder, the resulting infection usually causes symptoms such as: a burning sensation during voiding, overwhelming urgency, frequent but minuscule urinations, incontinence, bloody urine, and pelvic pain. Up to 25 percent of bladder infections in post- menopausal women are silent or symptomless. Bacteria enter the bladder in three primary ways: when feces are spread to the bladder opening (such as wiping from back to front after toileting), when the tube leading to the bladder is irritated or bruised (as from use of a diaphragm, pelvic surgery, or prolonged/vigorous vaginal penetration), or when there is an in-dwelling catheter. The thinning and shrinking of reproductive and bladder tissues that may occur in the post- menopausal years contributes to bladder infections in older women, as does lessening of vaginal acidity. Sometimes tiny ulcerations appear in the wall of the bladder; this is called interstitial cystitis (IC). Some of the remedies in this section are contraindicated for women with interstitial cystitis. These remedies are substantially the same ones that delighted and aided the readers of my first book: Wise Woman Herbal for the Childbearing Year. Step 2: Engage the Energy Flow, flow, flow. Head off that bladder infection by drinking a glass of water hourly as soon as you feel the first urgency or burning. It is tempting to stint on drinking if you find yourself unexpectedly incontinent, but don’t. Bladder infections only make incontinence worse. Urine is ideally neutral to slightly acidic (pH 5.8pH 7). Very acidic urine (below pH 5.5) encourages infections. An established infection gives rise to alkaline urine (pH 7.5 or higher), which causes stinging and burning. Test your urine with pH paper at any time except first thing in the morning. Cranberry juice lowers pH; vitamin C raises it. Cantharis is a homeopathic remedy for scalding urine. Step 3: Nourish and Tonify Cranberries (Vaccinium macrocarpon) contain substances that kill bacteria and make your bladder wall so slippery that any escaping bacteria can’t latch on and thrive there. Unsweetened cranberry juice (or concentrate) is the most effective form. (The sugar or corn syrup in cranberry cocktail-type juices and cran-apple juices can feed the infection.) Drink freely, at least a glass a day, up to a quart/liter a day for acute infections unless your urine’s pH is already low. Pelvic floor exercises help prevent and relieve bladder infections too! Try this one: After urinating, close your eyes, relax, breathe out, and see if you can squeeze out an extra dribble. An overgrowth of vaginal yeast may be irritating your bladder or urethra. Eat one cup of plain yogurt 4-5 times a week. Step 4: Stimulate/Sedate Uva Ursi (Arctostaphylos uva ursi) is an old favorite for strengthening the bladder and ending chronic silent bladder infections. I prefer a hot water infusion of the dried leaves, but know women who have successfully used cold water infusions, tinctures, even vinegars. A dose is 1 cup/125 ml of infusion; 10-30 drops of tincture; 1 tablespoonful/15 ml of vinegar; 36 times a day initially, then 13 times a day for 710 days. In very chronic cases, eliminate all forms of sugar (even fresh fruit, fruit juice, and honey) for a month as well. Yarrow is a urinary disinfectant with a powerful antibacterial action and an astringent effect. A small cup of the infusion, once or twice a day for 710 days, tones up weak, lax bladder tissues. Combines well with uva ursi. Results may be felt within hours. In my experience, Echinacea purpurea and E. augustifolia are as effective as antibiotics in clearing bladder infections and do not contribute to vaginal yeast. (See Step 5b.) A dose is 1 drop echinacea tincture per 2 pounds/1 kilo body weight. (For 150 pound/70 kilo person, use 75 drops or three dropperfuls.) In acute cases, I give the dose every 2 hours. As the infection clears, I lengthen the amount of time between doses until I’m down to 12 doses a day, which I continue for another 210 weeks. Women who wash their vulva with soap and water are four times more likely to get vaginal and bladder infections. Douches, bubblebaths, tampons, nylon underwear, and pantyhose may also irritate the urethra and contribute to bladder infections. Known bladder irritants include: alcohol, black tea, coffee, sodas, citrus juices, chocolate, cayenne, and hot peppers. (An herbal tincture in an alcohol base won’t irritate the bladder if you take it diluted in a glass of water or a cup of herb tea.) Urinating after love play flushes out bacteria and cuts down on UTIs. Urinating before love play increases your risk of a bladder infection. Step 5a: Use Supplements Ascorbic acid wrings the kidneys, flushes the bladder, and raises urinary pH. Try 500 mg hourly for 68 hours. CAUTION: IC sufferers avoid! Be careful about taking calcium supplements if you are prone to bladder infections. Calcium supplements increase bacterial adherence to the bladder wall, increasing bladder infections. Step 5b: Use Drugs Antibiotics are the standard medical treatment for women with bladder infections. But taking antibiotics frequently causes vaginal yeast overgrowth (which can lead to bladder infection). One nitrofurantoin (Macrodantin) seems to cause microscopic scarring and ulceration of the bladder wall, precipitating IC. Step 6: Break and Enter Dilation of the urethra is expensive, painful, and causes tiny scars on the urethra, which may lead to interstitial cystitis. I have seen it referred to as the rape of the female urethra. No controlled study has shown this procedure to be effective at limiting chronic bladder infections. Do pelvic floor exercises instead. Whenever there is high emotion and money involved- stress is sure to follow. There are some strategies that can help relieve the anxiety involved with planning your wedding and working within your budget. Find out first who is paying for what and how much. Keep in mind that anyone who contributes money will feel entitled to express their opinion- sometimes loudly! So try and make clear what expectations are. Your future mother-in-law may want to help out- but she also might want her second cousins daughter in your wedding party. If possible try and pay for as much of the wedding yourself and not rely on anyone else. Take a realistic look at how much money you have to work with- avoid going into debt. Most important- Have a budget! Be honest with your wedding professional- tell then how much you want to spend and have them help you give you the biggest bang for your buck. They know their field and what is possible and affordable. I know from experience that most creative people want to do their best work for you- and want your wedding flowers to be spectacular or your wedding dress to suit your body type. It is a business but most bridal shop owners, wedding photographers or florists I have met all have pride in their work- if you are getting a sense that they don’t or feel like just another dollar sign then move on and find some one else. Ask their advice- they know their stuff! They have seen hundreds if not thousands of brides and have a pretty good idea of what works and what doesn’t. I remember one year when a famous Kennedy got married- and pictures of his bride were all over newspapers and magazines of her holding a wedding bouquet of solid lily of the valley. I had DOZENS of brides walk in wanting this exact look. This is great if your are getting married in the 3 week window in June when lily of the valley is available. Any other time it is imported from Holland and packs a staggering price tag. For a 1/10 th of the money I could have given those brides stunning wedding flowers. Take a look at your budget and decide which is important to you. For some brides it might be the dress; others the wedding flowers or wedding cake. Maybe you have always dreamed of a live band at your wedding reception. With a limited budget you will have to make choices. If you want to have 350 people to your wedding- you may have to have chicken and not surf and turf for your guests. Something will have to give. Some good advice- you will be looking at your wedding photos for the next 50+ years. I would invest money into anything that shows up in those photos. Get the best photographer you can afford- do not give this job to your brother or friend who took a Learning Annex course in Photoshop. Good hair and makeup. I suggest nothing TOO trendy in a head piece unless you want to suffer the jibes of your children and grand children. Do not skimp on your bridal bouquet. This will be staring back at you for years in an 8×10 glossy. Your wedding attire- gets a lovely dress and something nice for your groom.Anything else is really is just icing on the cake. Trust me - you may regret spending all your money on a custom designed wedding cake. You will not regret beautiful and professional wedding photographs. It varies from person to person- but certain things really don’t matter and some do- I will share my opinions on this. Your dress, wedding photos, your bridal bouquet, location, grooms attire MATTER. Bridesmaid dresses, bridesmaid’s flowers and other wedding flowers, wedding cake, head table flowers, table centerpieces, food do not! Isn’t My word meant to cut and divide? Isn’t My word a hammer that smashes? Doesn’t My word make a man feel convicted enough so He turns from His idols and becomes set apart for me and My work? Will any idolater be found in heaven? Have a look at Galations chapter 5. You know my Word, you make the rules for all mankind, surely you should know? Will a person who loves his money more then Me make it into My Kingdom? My son said it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle then for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of heaven? Do you who $25,000 a year in the West not consider that you are the rich man? Nothing can stop Me from judging your nation! You think you can win power with Rome and together fight Me off? My people, you do not even know what doctrines you hold dear are false so how can you escape the teachers and leaders who preach them to you? I am against the lying prophets and I am against the shepherds who follow them! 30 Therefore behold, I am against the prophets, says the LORD, who steal My words every one from his neighbor. 31 Behold, I am against the prophets, says the LORD, who use their tongues and say, He says. 32 Behold, I am against those who prophesy false dreams, says the LORD, and tell them, and cause My people to err by their lies and by their recklessness. And I will give to each one of you according to your works. Can you discern Jezebel in your midst? Does she worship in your church, or he for that matter? You need to discern and tell her to repent and cast the demon out or order her not to come back to your church! There is no playing around with Jezebel, she is an enemy of Mine and an enemy of my true saints that want to go forward one day in full time ministry. If you think you are being full of grace and loving when you allow her to stay in your church you are wrong and will suffer the consequences. Most people who are Christians cannot even stand and fight when Jezebel is in operation. He demon is far wiser then the wisdom of man, only by MY Spirit can you deal with her and her lies. You wouldn’t tolerate a high priestess witch of Satan to mix freely with you and influence your men and women from your pulpit while she tells you she still practices witchcraft, and yet you allow something even more sinister on your stages to preach to you! Kick her out of your church and tell her she is not welcome back until she wants to repent and deal with the demon she obeys! If she really really loves you she will weep and weep and find true repentance, just like a drunk when his wife leaves him and says she is not coming back until he is sober! Can’t you see that sending her out is the most loving thing you can do for her! You are so far from the truth and there are so many lies that you have been taught that you cannot accept the truth when a true prophet shares it with you. My prophets message today may not be well read, and may not be well received as the teachers of the Law will say that it does not edify the church or any such reason, or it is not scriptural, or does not glorify Jesus Christ, and yet if this prophecy is ringing alarm bells with you, you be sure to heed the warning of the trumpet that is being blown. You pray for prosperity but you do not seek My face. You hoard your wealth and get rich riding the third world and you think you can create peace by declaring war! You dirty adulterers and adulteresses! You claim to be My Son’s bride and yet you play the harlot with the riches and glory of the world. You take yourself another lover and make love to it in front of My Son and He is obliged to forgive you because you prayed a sinners prayer and He died and spilled His blood for you on a cross to save you from your sin! See that you don’t refuse to hear My words to you this day for: Hebrews 12: 25 See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, 26 whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven. 27 Now this, Yet once more, indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may[c] serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. 29 For our God is a consuming fire. My prophetic word to the lukewarm church of the Western nations that are ruled by free enterprise is: Repent you wicked servant! Choose you master! You can only love one! You can serve the world and feast on the lusts of the flesh or you can serve My Son! It is impossible to serve both! My Word declares it and this personal prophecy Revelation 18 warning from the LORD 2006 repeats it now! You say My Son is a liar and deny His teaching. Your teachers teach you lies from Satan. Your prophets seduce you and sell you prophecy that is false and from the pit and if you can’t even accept the milk of the Word you fat babies, how can you ever accept the meat? You can only serve Jesus alone if you are to lose your life! If you love the world and it’s pleasures you are trying to save your life and you will lose it on the last day, it is a promise from My Son Jesus Christ! You double minded fools! You have believed a lie! You have been told you can serve mammon and also Jesus! Jesus said you would not be able to do it! He told you that you will end up loving one and despising the other! You think Jesus is stupid and in your arrogance you have let your preachers and teachers lie to you! In your false church you sing praises to a Jesus that in your hearts you despise! You thank My Son Jesus for His death on His Cross but you won’t deny your flesh and lusts and take up your own cross and follow Him. Can you deny your flesh for a day, a week, a month? Can you walk in the Spirit for a whole day so that everything you did that day was directed by the Spirit of God? Can you walk like that for two days, and then a week? Can you really deny yourself and do what the Bible says to do and lose your life for a brother in need? You tithe a tenth when you have been convicted by a preacher and yet you sow that money in order to get money back! Yet when the poor homeless drunk is crying out for mercy and asking for alms you cross the street and pretend that you can’t see or hear him. You think I haven’t seen you, well My little priest, you are not loving your neighbor and you are NOT the Good Samaritan My Son talked about in his parable! My grace is something that not only do you need, but the rest of the world needs. Someone that hurts you or becomes your enemy needs your grace in plentiful supply. Freely you have received My grace, freely you should give! Don’t judge a person by their actions, love them and give them grace. And if that grace is tough love, and my Bible tells you not to sit and eat with that person, well love them from a distance and obey my Word.
